The terroir is made up of equal parts of sand on crasse de fer – clay with high iron oxide content – and the gravely clay of the famous Pomerol Plateau.
Run by Sophie Laporte and her partner, this small estate – which like so many in Pomerol has been family-owned though five generations – is situated near to Clinet and has prestigious neighbors including the châteaux of Clinet and Église Clinet.
