Meadow Brook Amphitheatre will host its 16th Annual Wine and Food Festival presented by Kroger on Saturday, August 27 from 1–9 p.m. and Sunday, August 28 from 1–4 p.m.
Tickets are $25 for general admission and go on sale this Friday, May 13 at 10 a.m. at Palacenet.com, The Palace Ticket Store and all Ticketmaster locations. Tickets may be charged by phone to American Express, Discover, Visa and MasterCard by calling 800-745-3000. Kroger will also offer discounted tickets at its 126 Michigan stores beginning July 20. “Designated Driver” tickets may be purchased for $10 and include two free soft drinks.
More than 150 award-winning wineries from throughout Michigan and across the globe will showcase their varieties of Chardonnay, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Riesling, sparkling wines, dessert wines and many more. The festival’s on-site retail store will offer select wines for purchase by the bottle or case.
“The Wine and Food festival provides the opportunity for festival-goers to sample some of the most unique and delicious wines from around the world,” said Jayne Homco, president, The Kroger Co. of Michigan. “Kroger is proud to offer the expertise of our beverage steward team along with a selection of wonderful foods that pair well with the many flavors of wine.”
In addition to wine tasting, the festival will feature special Michigan made craft beer selections, seminars on wine and food, free food samplings, exhibits and live music.
The Wine and Food Festival at Meadow Brook Amphitheatre presented by Kroger and sponsored by Palace Sports & Entertainment is part of the Belle Tire Concert Series.
