Oxford Wine & Beverage Company of Oxford, Michigan hosted an annual wine tasting fundraiser for the Oxford Women’s Club at Addison Oaks in Oakland Township on Sunday, January 26th from 1:00 – 4:00pm. The funds raised are used to support the local library and youth scholarships.
Dean Rondy, owner of Oxford Wine & Beverage, is seen in the attached photo with Michael Cregar, partner in Woodberry Wine Company. Michael and Dean are close friends and studied together for the Certified Sommelier exam – both have achieved the certification from the Court of Master Sommeliers (2006).
Over 175 people attended the Oxford event! The hit of the tasting was our Ca’Momi, Rosso di Napa red blend 2012 and the Ca’Momi, Bianco di Napa white blend 2012. Other notable wines included Luccarelli, Primitivo 2012 from Puglia, Italy and Le Versant, Viognier 2012 from the Languedoc region of Southern France.
