Anne Allard of Woodberry Wine held an Italian Wine Class at Colasanti’s Italian Market in Highland on Saturday, February 28th. Wines were presented from Tuscany, including Montauto Vermentino, Montauto Ciliegiolo, Moris Farms Mandriolo, Moris Farms Morellino di Scansano, and from Veneto, Fattori Amarone della Valpolicella “Col de la Bastia,” and Fattori Recioto de Soave.
Rob Knue, the wine consultant at Colasanti’s, provided food pairings including cheese, beef brisket and almond biscotti.
